Dane Cook

Right now I’m watching Dane Cook and I love him!! He is probably one of the funniest guys I have ever seen.  I can watch him and litterally laugh out loud by myself.  His HBO special “Viscious circle” is hilarious.  There are some great lines in this show.  One of my favorites is one about when he asks an old man what the secret to a long happy relationship is.  The old man whispers in his ear so his wife can’t hear him and says “Cheat!”.  That line seriously makes me laugh every time.  The other reason I really like Dane Cook is because he physically gets into his act.  He hand talks and rolls on the floor and everything else.  The best thing about Dane Cook is… he is HOT!!

Sunday… laundry day

Well it’s Sunday!!  That means it is laundry day.  I spend the better part of my day today doing laundry.  So far i have done 2 loads and have 2 to go.  It seems like a lot of loads but I also do my brother’s laundry today.  And a load of towels because he gets a new towel almost every time he showers, thats a lot of towels.  The good news is, laundry works well around homework.  Today i finished a paper and my Stat homework.  Since I got all of that done so quickly, I also had time to watch Transformers, that is one of my favorite movies.  My brother on the other hand, has been sleeping all day.  He had a little bit of a rough night last night.

game day!

Well it is definately raining like crazy right now!! I decided not to go to the game today because i didn’t want to stand in this miserable rain for four hours.  My brother on the other hand, decided to go.  He, his girlfriend, and his friend decided to brave the rain and go.  Being the awesome sister that I am, I drove them over to the stadium so they wouldn’t have to park and walk so far.  I will have to go pick them up though when they call.  I decided that since I’m not going to the game, I’m going to try and be productive here at home.  I’m gonna try andget half way through a paper that I have due on Wednesday. I’m curious to see how long my brother and his friends last at the game.

I have 2 dogs in my house and they are exactly like children.  Some people might say they are too big to be in the house.  But I don’t let them on the furniture because im not a big fan of dog hair on my furniture.  They are full blood AKC registered boxers and they are my babies.  One’s name is Mia and the other is Tonka.  Today I had to go buy them dog food, and I forget how expensive it is every time.  The bag costs $35!!! Now since the dogs are pretty large, weighing in at 65 and 80 pounds, they eat twice a day.  That is a lot of dog food when you think about it.  However, they are my babies and I love them.

Today I went to lunch with two of my friends.  One of them is quite possibly the funniest person I know.  She has a story for absolutely everything.  At lunch one of us would start talking and she would say, “Oh! Time out, I have to tell ya something about that!”  Today she was talking about her boss at work because that person also happens to be our friend.  Well they have been having some problems lately and she has just been pushing her boss’s buttons to see how far she could push it.  She told us today she asked the other girl if she wanted to hang out this weekend knowing the other girl woul dhave an excuse not to.  We asked her if she only asked because she really wanted to hang out or if she was just being mean.  With a long pause she said, “Well… a little bit of both, but I thought it would be kinda funny if I could pick at her for awhile, I was bored!”  We all kinda laughed but I was thinking to myself, really thats kinda harsh.  But it did still make me laugh so maybe I am kinda harsh too haha.

So, last night was my firs official flag football game ever.  I was recruited to a team because they needed another girl to play.  I thought, why not, it should be fun.  Well…. that wasn’t exactly true.  The game started out fun, everyone was having a good time even though we were one person down.  About 3 plays in and things turned around.  The other team became crazy competitive.  At one point, an amazon girl ran me over.  Flag football is supposed to be non contact.  She ran me over and now im laying on the couch with ice on my knee because i have grown what looks like an extra kneecap on my knee.  Needless to say, our team lost by 2 touchdowns and I am walking funny because of it.

Living in Stillwater

Hey everyone!

So today I decided that my favorite thing about living in Stillwater is that it is close enough to home that I can go whenever I want, but it is far enough away that I have an excuse to not go if I don’t want to go home.  Unfortunately, today I had to go to a funeral back at home.  I was glad that i lived close enough to be able to go visit family during this time.  We made it back in under two hours which was perfect!  I also love that we have a Buffalo Wild Wings here because that is my brother and I’s favorite place to eat when we are needing comfort food.
